YATA Turkey participated in Denmark Atlantic Youth Seminar

Selin Yılmaz, President of YATA Turkey, and Burak Gün, Vice President for External Relations attended DAYS, YATA Denmark’s flagship event. The theme of the event was Afghanistan, which was discussed in two separate talks and working groups on two separate days. Participants toured a specially prepared simulation of Afghanistan at the Danish War Museum.

On the first day, after the presentation of David Vestenskov from the Royal Danish Defense Academy on the reasons for the failure in Afghanistan, the participants were divided into groups to discuss the theses put forward and seek answers to the questions prepared by YATA Denmark. On the second day, after the presentation of Jarl Arthur Hehnel from the aforementioned institution, a general evaluation of the last twenty years was made through the experiences of Danish soldiers who served in Afghanistan.
