YATA INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY 2019

Between December 8-11, our Secretary General Mustafa Eracar and various members attended the first “YATA International Academy” organized by YATA International.
The main topic of the event, hosted by YATA Albania in Tirana, was NATO’s 70th anniversary and its future. During the event, which included highly productive panel discussions, simulations, and debate programs, NATO’s new threat perceptions, the weaponization of public information sources through fake news, the importance of gender equality in the security sector, the current security situation in the Balkan region, NATO’s European Union-Russia relations and the NATO summit in London were discussed.
The event, which brought together participants from many alliances and partner countries, was an opportunity for young professionals to exchange ideas. YATA Turkey had the opportunity to explain the reasons for the Republic of Turkey’s purchase of the S-400 system and its fight against terrorism with its members representing Turkey and successfully concluded the event by taking part in the simulation event held at the Albanian Prime Minister’s Office.
