TAYS 2018

TAYS (Turkish Atlantic Youth Seminar) was organized by the Turkish Atlantic Youth Council on November 29-30 at TOBB Plaza with the support of the Economic Development Foundation.

The topics of the seminar included changing warfare methods and threats, hybrid elements of terrorism, hybrid perception operations against Turkish public opinion, disinformation and propaganda methods of YPG and PKK terrorist organizations, the role of social media in the Syrian civil war, how FETÖ uses hybrid elements and why it is an extraordinary terrorist organization.

The event featured many respected academics, lawyers, and journalists from Turkey, different European countries, and the USA as speakers. 35 young foreign journalists, academics, and think tank staff from 20 different countries were also present as participants.
