On the 26th of April, the webinar organized by YATA Türkiye and YATA Hungary’s collaboration “Türkiye’s future role in the energy security of Central and Eastern Europe” brought together experts in the field of energy security and regional cooperation to discuss Türkiye’s potential role in ensuring the energy security of Central and Eastern Europe. The webinar explored Türkiye’s strategic location as a bridge between Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and its growing importance as a key player in the energy sector. Expert speakers,Prof. Dr. Mitat Çelikpala (Dean of Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Kadir Has University) and Máté Litkei (Director of Climate Policy Institute) discussed Türkiye’s energy mix, infrastructure, and trade relations, as well as its growing role in natural gas transit.
