
NATO 2022 Strategic Concept
This Strategic Concept, adopted by NATO Leaders at the Madrid Summit on 29 June 2022, sets out the Alliance's priorities, core tasks and assessments of the security environment for the next decade.

The Turkish Atlantic Council (Atlantic Treaty Association of Turkey) is the Turkish branch of the Atlantic Treaty Association, founded in 1965 upon the recommendation of NATO.
Institutional Identity
The Turkish Atlantic Council was established in 1965 as the Turkish branch of the Atlantic Treaty Association, which was founded in 1954 upon the recommendation of the NATO Public Diplomacy Department. The Council aims to raise public awareness and contribute to policy dialogue in the fields of NATO policy, Transatlantic relations and international security.
Strengthening Turkey's role in the Transatlantic security architecture as a NATO member.
Contributing to policy processes by bridging decision-makers, academics, and civil society.
Bringing the younger generation together with NATO and Atlantic values through YATA Turkey.
